Hi!

How are you?

Fashion is a strange thing to talk about at the moment seeing as we have no where to dress up for (beside the kitchen, or maybe the living room) but so many of my fave influencers have shared their quarantine outfits and future outfits for when we’re allowed out again!

I want to share a couple things I’ve bought in the same styles but for half the price!

One thing I’ve seen everywhere at the moment, is oversized, cosy cardigans.

Matilda Djerf my ultimate style icon and constantly throws on this €400 ish Mr Mittens cardi, don’t get me wrong I’d love to be able to buy it however I don’t quite have the funds at the moment.

I swear I’ve searched EVERY online site I know and still haven’t found one that’s relatively cheap but still looks as I want (I’ll put pictures below of the type of things I mean) UNTIL I went to our local ASDA supermarket with mum yesterday.

It was the first time I’d been to any shops since March and honestly felt like a day trip, AND I saw a cardi which was basically what I wanted, a cosy, summer throw-on, for £10?!

Literally hit the jackpot, it’s cute and warm and I no longer have to spend hours looking for one, super impressed with it, especially for the price.

It’s a gorgeous cream colour with bubble sleeves and brown/cream marble buttons, pretty much identical to one from & Other Stories and £65 cheaper.

Another thing I’m obsessed with is the strappy minimal sandals everyone seems to be wearing. Harper’s Bazaar has them down as one of the top 7 biggest shoe trends this year! Personally, I love anything minimal and can’t walk in ridiculously high heels so this trend is right up my street.

I actually bought these before lockdown however haven’t had the chance to wear them yet, I had planned to wear them all summer with a long dress or skirt, pretending I live in Italy kinda vibes but here I am typing in joggers and a scruffy ponytail.

These were another lucky buy, I loved the trend but didn’t have my eye on any in particular until I walked in the tiny Primark in Selfridges, they were just on a tiny shelf, in 3 colours, black, beige and a gorgeous sage green. I grabbed 2 pairs, obviously I had to go for the black, a staple and anything beige is my favourite (I would have grabbed the green too but 3 pairs of the same shoes is a LITTLE excessive, even for me). I’m honestly so happy with the quality, the square toe is amazing too (I think I’ve decided that’s my fave shape for heels) AND only £10 each? I was shocked, 2 pairs of shoes for £20. Can’t complain.

The last thing I want to mention is jewellery, I’m in LOVE with everything Cendre makes, but alas, I can’t splash that much cash when I’m not earning any.

SO, back to the supermarkets it is. I actually found the brand ‘SIX’ when I was on holiday in Gran Canaria, their jewellery was on a tiny stand in a shop by the sea. They have such nice earrings for amazing prices. Some is just costume jewellery, but others are made of 925 silver for example. At the time I bought some tiny studs for my first and second piercings and one for my helix, adore them but they’re silver.

Now, I wear gold most of the time and bought some of their hoops, I don’t wear them in the shower but wear them all day, a few times a week. They haven’t tarnished or broken, and I think I only payed £3 from their stand in Tesco.

So, if you want, chunky, gold jewellery vibes, check them out, because I’m in love.

I’m going to end this post here, but, as soon as I find any more bargains, I’ll be sure to update you!

Talk soon,

Katie
