Hi, I’m Katie.

A 20 year old graphic design student who wants to do more with my life.

In 2016, I created a blog named “Ephemeral”. I wanted to stay anonymous as I didn’t have the confidence to express myself and my passions when I was 16.

I’m now translating that passion for creating, designing and writing using this pseudonym at the forefront of my new ventures.

‘Ephemeral’ means lasting for a very short time, just as life does.

I wanted to remind myself how precious every minute is and realised that documenting this is a way to stay completely present.

Let’s be honest, we all know how easy it is to forget this and let the hustle and bustle of life sweep us away.

This movement is to inspire and encourage you to slow down, make the most of and enjoy every single moment, no matter how small and insignificant they may seem.

I’m going to be sharing tips and little things that I find help when I’m feeling a little lost and need to ground myself.

Stick around and perhaps I’ll be able to help you on your journey to a more simple and happy life!

If you like any of the ideas I share or even try a few out,

I’d love to see. Take photographs, tag me and use the hashtag #ephemeralinstances.

My aim is to create a community of like-minded people, ones who appreciate the little things and build others up when they’re need a bit of a boost.

I’d love to see the things that help you slow down and re centre your life, get involved!

Talk soon!
